Are your expectations high enough?

If your athletes have met every challenge they’ve been presented with in a season, your expectations might not be high enough. Goals and expectations are different in the sense that goals are measurable with achievable outcomes. Expectations are the standards you set to raise the bar of your team. Your goals and expectations should scare you at least a little bit; much like the feeling you have when you begin to climb a steep mountain or start a difficult task. Have a quick check-in with your leadership team to determine if your goals for the year require work and effort from ALL your team members.
